Roman Muratkin is a street artist from Serpukhov. He has been doing graffiti since 2004.

It is very interesting work. Many curved lines and color spots form a pattern like a mosaic or a stained glass window.

At the age of thirteen, Roman saw graffiti for the first time, and a few years later made his first street art work. Roman received art education with a degree in arts and crafts.

“I did the piece in 2012. Used aerosol paint as my material. The key feature of the image is not its meaning but a technical design that resembles a mosaic panel or a stained glass window.

The image itself carries only aesthetic charm. A combination of bright colors and a dynamic add a decorative meaning to a pattern and serves as a bright spot in an urban space,”
