Eugene Ozzik (0331S)

is an artist who also does sculpture and photography. He lives and works in Moscow.

The birdhouse on the side of a building facing a forest fits into the surroundings.

This painting echoes another project by the same artist where he creates flat birdhouses, decorating trees in the capital’s parks.

To make his paintings, Eugene can use the most unexpected objects, such as fire extinguishers or balloons filled with paint.

“I create only things I am interested in, and they are rarely mainstream. I think it is normal to exhibit your work somewhere. You do not need to try and please someone for the sake of recognition or earnings. No matter where your work is, on the street or in a gallery,"

— Ozzik said in an interview to the Artinfo magazine.
