The “Vyksun up!” installation on the dam of the Upper Pond in Vyksa is a place for performances, meetings, and contemplation.
The installation got its name from the Vyksun river. This large three-level structure sits on the dam line and combines the functions of a bench, a catwalk, and a stage. The mill used the Upper Pond as a water reservoir for industrial water intake. Today, it is a favorite place for walks and meetings for Vyksa residents.
The project was created by “Pole-Design” Design Studio that does business in Moscow and brings together architects, designers, artists, and exhibition designers, both professors and students, masters and apprentices. The studio's managing partners are Vladimir Kuzmin and Vladislav Slavkin.
